Who are the great chemists in history? It’s a debatable topic but the names Faraday, Curie, Bunsen/Beaker, and White are on high on our list! Michael Faraday (1791-1867) was an English physicist and chemist who made numerous groundbreaking discoveries in the fields of electricity and magnetism. Marie Curie (1867-1934) was a Polish-born French physicist and chemist who is best known for her pioneering work on radioactivity. Bunsen and Beaker are known for their wild inventions and experiments. Walter White from “Breaking Bad” is a high school chemistry teacher who produces and sells methamphetamine with his former student. All great in their own way!
