Clark Griswold is a fictional character played by Chevy Chase in the National Lampoon’s Vacation film series. In the 1989 film “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” one of the memorable scenes features Clark Griswold attempting to make the perfect Christmas by installing a giant sled made of a flexible silicon based kitchen lubricant on his icy hill. The sled is meant to serve as a sort of super-speedy sledding ramp for himself and his family. However, in typical comedic fashion, things go awry, and the sled turns out to be much faster and more dangerous than he anticipated.
