KBHR – The voice of the last frontier. KBHR is the fictional radio station in the Northern Exposure television series. It is a radio station in the small, fictional town of Cicely, Alaska, where much of the show’s action takes place. The call sign KBHR stands for “K-Bear,” reflecting the station’s bear-themed branding. The radio station is owned by Maurice’s Minnifield Communications Network. Chris Stevens is the disk jockey of the Chris in the Morning Show.
