The Vancouver Grizzlies were a professional basketball team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. They were part of the NBA as an expansion team, joining the league in 1995 along with the Toronto Raptors. The Grizzlies played in Vancouver for six seasons before relocating to Memphis, Tennessee in 2001 where they became the Memphis Grizzlies. During their time in Vancouver, the Grizzlies struggled to find success, never making the playoffs and often finishing near the bottom of the standings. Despite passionate fan support, the team faced financial difficulties, leading to the eventual move to Memphis.
